Terry Bowman: Union Politics is Anti-Worker

Terry Bowman is a United Auto Worker Union member who is running for Congress in MI District 12. He is also a conservative. Bowman, who is a long time union member, came to see “the political agenda of the union officials was very anti-job, very anti-business, very anti-union worker.”

Looking to “embrace truth and reality” and calling himself a “strong believer in free market economics,” Bowman started a group called “Union Conservatives” to help organize conservatives within the union. Bowman says that conservatism is “the best thing for union workers.”
