Ret. Air Force Brigadier General Robert Lovell, former US Africom Intelligence Director, testified that it was in the early hours of their intelligence gathering on September 11th 2012 they knew the terrorist attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya was conducted by Al Qaeda affiliates Ansar al-Sharia.
