Harry Reid Doubles Down on 'Greased Pig' Remarks

On MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown,” host Chuck Todd interviewed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). One of the topics included his now-infamous analogy calling his Republican senate colleagues “greased pigs,” which he did not back away from.

“I’ve used ‘greased pigs,’ I’ve used the ‘shell game’ because that’s what it is,” Reid said. “Listen, listen to this – it was held up a year ago for a lot of reasons.”

Reid pointed to various objections the legislation was held up including Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) wanting to impose restrictions to certain subsidies for congressional staffers among other objections.
