CNN’s John King, Bloomberg’s Margaret Talev, and Politico’s Manu Raju described the scandal involving the Department of Veterans Affairs as a major political pitfall for the Obama administration.
Talev described the scandal as “devastating,” a point with which King strongly agreed, adding that the question raised by former Senator Scott Brown of how many veterans had to die before Secretary Shinseki loses his job was “devastating.” King described the scandal as “a big political headache.”
Raju added that the scandal was “a huge headache,” which “is going to get worse for Democrats unless they look like they’re actually doing something.”
