Monday night on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” host Bill O’Reilly in his “Talking Points Memo” segment took on the so-called climate change issue with regards to China’s contribution to it.
O’Reilly said, “China is driving pollution on the earth and no matter what the USA does and China is not going to cooperate on limiting CO2 emissions. They have to support a billion and a half people and any deprivation in China could lead to a bloody uprising as the folks there know they are oppressed. So, business, not pollution is China’s obsession.”
After that segment, O’Reilly took on Simon Rosenberg, founder of the New Democrat Network, and Democratic strategist Mark Hannah. During that exchange, O’Reilly became animated and slammed the pair for suggesting China would be influenced to reduce carbon emissions if the United States “shows geopolitical leadership” by setting a good example.
