Barkley Snaps on Group Trying to Film Him

Former NBA great and TNT host Charles Barkley doesn’t like being filmed when he’s not on set. USA Today’s The Big Lead reports that Barkley snapped when he was hounded inside a hotel by hosts from “The Billy Madison Show” about recent comments about the city of San Antonio. Barkley had called the city “a gold mine for Weight Watchers.” Barkley was asked if he received “a bad taste” from bigger women. Barkley responded that his earlier statement was just a joke.

The former NBA star became angry when he realized he was being filmed and threatened the videographers with physical harm, he also called for a man named James (presumably a security guard for Barkley) to get the men away from him. When the individuals filming Barkley argued with him and claimed they were just doing entertainment like he does, Barkley countered that the group was just doing shameful “paparazzi” work and harassing him. Finally, a worker with the hotel told the individuals that they needed to leave the building.
