House Armed Services Chair Vows Hearings on Bergdahl-Taliban Deal

On “America’s Newsroom” on the Fox News Channel on Monday, House Armed Services Chairman Rep. Buck McKeon (R-CA) reacted to the deal between the United States government and the Taliban that resulted in the release of POW U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five Guantanamo Bay detainees considered to be on high end of the spectrum of terrorist threats.

McKeon explained the Obama administration had not forthcoming with details on the swap and he guaranteed there would be hearing held in the House for those answers.
