Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer questioned the latest excuse for not notifying Congress on the Bergdahl swap the Obama administration came up with after the bipartisan backlash from senators who were shown a six month-old proof of life video last night.
After the senator said they were not convinced Bergdahl’s health was the reason for the secrecy this morning for the first time the administration claimed the Taliban threatened to kill the prisoner if the details of the deal came out Krauthammer said, “But the fact they had to come up with a new excuse today, that they thought he might be killed, why would you say that the fourth, the fifth day. oh, by the way, we remember there’s another reason. tells you how much they are reaching and how little you can really believe.”
