An employee with Connecticut’s public health exchange, Access Health CT’s call center vendor, left a backpack containing the personal information of about 400 individuals and fewer than 200 Social Security numbers lying on the street on Friday. WFSB Hartford reports that the individual responsible for leaving the information has been placed on administrative leave, and that Access Health CT officials will meet today to discuss the breach.
