Limbaugh: Use 'Elian Gonzalez Doctrine' on Children Illegals

Rush Limbaugh and one of his callers suggested that the Obama administration could resolve the crisis of children flooding over the southern border by reverting back to the “Elian Gonzalez doctrine.” Limbaugh pointed out that the Clinton administration “moved heaven and earth to return one kid to a Communist country” when Cuban refugee Elian Gonzalez was staying with his family in Florida, and “couldn’t wait to send this kid back.”

Back in 2000, armed Border Patrol agents stormed the house Gonzalez was staying in to take custody of the child and send him back to Cuba, while the current administration has promised to get lawyers for the children who have illegally entered the United States.
