Reporters Laugh at WH Press Secretary for Saying the Administration Trusts Congress

Monday at the White House daily briefing, deputy press secretary Josh Earnest made the briefing room packed with reporters laugh loudly when he answered “sure” after being asked if the administration trusts Congress. The question was in reference to the White House not consulting Congress as required by statute for a 30-day period in advance of the prisoner exchange for U.S. Army Sgt, Bowe Bergdahl for five top Taliban.
