Pelosi: 'I Have as Much Sympathy for Cantor as He Would Have For Me'

Thursday at her weekly press briefing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked if she had sympathy for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) after his stunning loss in the Virginia primary Tuesday night. She said “of course, it’s hard to loss elections,” but ultimately its most important to “keep you home fires burning” because “the people are the boss.”

She added, “I have as much sympathy for Mr Cantor as he would want me to have for him … or that he would have for me.”
