Friday at a press conference to discuss the final phase of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s reintegration, a team of U.S. military physiologists and doctors updated the press and answered questions. When questioned if reports that Bergdahl has not spoken to his parents Jani and Bob Bergdahl, who a few weeks ago were in Washington D.C. at the White House Rose Garden with President Barack Obama announcing the now highly controversial prisoner exchange of five top Taliban commanders for Bergdahl, one doctor said it was his choice and his family “understand the process” that is happening at this time.
