Polat Talabani, the head of the Kurd forces counterterrorism unit, warned the AFP news agency that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is now more powerful and better equipped than the Iraqi army.
Rooz Bahjay, a senior security official in the Kurdish regional government warned the Peshmergas will fight off the ISIS terrorists until there “last drop of blood”
“Peshmergasis” is the term used by Kurds to refer to armed Kurdish fighters that literally means “those who confront death.”
