Rand Paul: 'America Needs A Revival'

Friday at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) declared “America needs a revival” because he said we have “arrived at our day of reckoning” and all to often we are making the mistake of “choosing between liberty and our virtue.”

Paul said he has seen “belly of the beast” in Washington D.C. and the “enemy is too often us.” He cited the “bipartisan looting of the treasury,” the “bipartisan destruction of our currency” and the “bipartisan spirit away from a republic limited by a Constitution.”

He also proposed term limits and a law forcing Congress to read any bill they pass. He said we don’t need another politician with more promises the he argued instead America needs to revive hope and virtue.
