In a speech at the White House Working Families Summit in Washington D.C. this morning, Vice President Joe Biden, who has had significant sway over economic and financial policy as a senator and vice president admitted that he has no savings account, and owns no stocks or bonds. Biden stated that “he still makes a lot of money,” but added “I don’t own a single stock or bond. I have no savings account.”
However, according to a financial disclosure report released by Time magazine’s Zeke Miller, Biden does have a savings account with the US Senate Federal Credit Union valued at somewhere between $1,001 and $15,000.
