O'Reilly: 'Unbelievable' Four Liberal Justices Want to Give More Power to Feds

During his “Talking Points Memo” opening monologue on Monday, “The O’Reilly Factor” anchor Bill O’Reilly reacted to the 5-4 decision on the Hobby Lobby case earlier in the day which stripped ObamaCare of a mandate for some types of birth control.

O’Reilly said the main story from his point of view is that four of the justices voted to enforce the mandate, which he warned was “frightening” since it ignored the religious freedom aspect of the Constitution.

“Anyway, the very disturbing part of the Supreme Court’s opinion is that the four liberal justices apparently believe that American taxpayers should fund abortions,” O’Reilly said. “Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, Sotomayor and Stephen Breyer voted to uphold the mandate. That’s hard to believe because religious freedom is the mall mark of the Constitution. If you sincerely believe that abortion is morally wrong you have a right to opt out. These four justices would deny you that right, absolutely contradicting the Constitution. Again, that’s frightening.”

O’Reilly warned if one more justice is added to tilt the balance of the court to left, it could spell the end for freedom America.

“The other matter decided today by the Supreme Court is that they can’t force people to join unions – another amazing intrusion into personal freedom,” O’Reilly said. “Again it was 5-4, the liberal justices believing the feds should be able to force American workers into a union situation. ‘Talking Points’ is concerned that if one more liberal supreme court justice is appointed, one more, freedom in America will be compromised forever. You know what? Most Americans do not understand that at all. On a practical basis, what are these four liberal judges thinking about? Do they not standard that the Obama administration has screwed up just about everything? Do they not understand that the federal government in Washington is not solving the nation’s problems? Yet, the four justices want to give the feds even more power. It’s unbelievable.”
