Defiant Obama to Boehner: 'So Sue Me'

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama defiantly addressed the Speaker of the House John Boehner’s (R-OH) lawsuit during his remarks on the U.S. economy from Georgetown Waterfront Park in Washington D.C.

The president said, “Middle class families cant wait for Republicans in Congress to do stuff. So sue me. As long as they are doing nothing Im not going to apologize for trying to do something.”

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) filed a lawsuit against the president for allegedly exceeding his authority and violating Article 1 of the Constitution which grants legislative powers to Congress.
