Israeli Amb: US Wouldn't Tolerate Terror that Israel Faces

Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer argued that if the United States and the rest of the world were on the receiving end of the terrorist attacks launched against Israel, they would respond with more force than Israel has used. 

In an interview on Tuesday’s “The Sean Hannity Show,” Dermer stated that 7,000 rockets are launched at Israel every year, and “it wouldn’t take 7,000 rockets … if you fired seven rockets at an American city, the American people would demand a swift response that would make anything Israel does pale by comparison” and also that “America, and many other countries around the world would take much tougher action than Israel has.”

Dermer’s comments come after National Review magazine reported that President Barack Obama urged the Israelis to not “destabilize the situation” after the bodies of three murdered Israeli teenagers were discovered and Hamas’ leaders celebrated the deaths.
