Scott Davis, the National Health Eligibility Center Program Specialist at the Veterans Administration, who blew the whistle on the VA purging applications and ignoring veteran care to focus on projects focusing on Obamacare, detailed the retaliation that he and others who exposed wrongdoing faced at a meeting of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
Davis said that his complain was leaked to his manager, and that he was “illegally placed on a permanent work detail” after he raised concerns about misconduct at the VA. He also stated that “placed on involuntary administrative leave” during the Inspector General’s investigation, and that others who worked to expose wrongdoing were “routinely harassed.”
