Lundergan Grimes Repeatedly Declines to Offer Position on Border Aid

Alison Lundergan Grimes, the Democrat who is running against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for Kentucky’s U.S. Senate seat refused to answer a local reporters question about if she supports President Barack Obama’s request to congress for $3.7 billion in emergency aid to address the humanitarian crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border where ten of thousands of children are overwhelmed holding facilities after illegally crossing into the United States.

Three times Grimes stonewalled the WHAS-KY reporter’s specific question choose instead to say she support the current version of comprehensive immigration reform held up in the U.S. Senate.
