On Saturday, Fox News’ National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin reported on phone intercepts released by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) between a former Russian Lieutenant Colonel and current leader of the Pro Russian separatist forces, Igor Bezler, and a Russian military intelligence officer.
Igor Bezler, also known as Bes, or “demon,” says, “We have just shot down a plane.” On Thursday, Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was downed in an area of eastern Ukraine controlled by Bezler’s pro Russian forces, killing all 295 passegners aboard.
