CEO and business mogul Donald Trump argued that the influx of illegal immigrants is “a concerted effort by the president to let people come into the country.”
On Monday’s “Fox & Friends” on the Fox News Channel he said, “It really does seem like it cannot be this stupid. It just can’t be this stupid. It must be a concerted effort to get these kids into the system, add them into the system. As you know, later on they’ll become citizens and they’ll vote Democratic. I mean, this has to be some kind of a concerted effort by the president to let people come into the country because it’s not that tough.”
Trump also criticized the administration’s lack of action to free imprisoned U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, stating, “He’s the only one from Mexico that cannot get into our country. It’s an amazing thing. And they’re treating him badly. You know, they’re beating the hell out of him in prison. They’re treating him badly. And unlike our traitor, when we gave five killers, you know five real enemies of the state, Bergdahl, unlike him, you know this guy was a very solid citizen as a soldier. So you know it’s really crazy…our country, it’s just getting to a point to where it’s not going to be able to come back anymore.”
