Residents in Brooks Co., TX are getting deputized in an all-volunteer force to collect bodies of undocumented immigrant left by drug traffickers, KENS 5 news reported. Also according to KENS, in 2012, more than 200 bodies were recovered.
Now with the increased flow of undocumented unaccompanied minors flooding into their state residents have formed patrols.
The local sheriff has “outfitted 17-peace officers with borrowed gear” and put them on patrol as “reserve deputies” KENS 5 reported.
