France24 Correspondent Gallagher Fenwick showed a “launching pad,” used by what he described as “Palestinian militants,” near the hotel where many reporters are staying and a UN facility on Tuesday. Fenwick said the launching pad was “50 meters away from the hotel where most of the international media is stationed.” And that there was a UN facility with a UN flag “about a 100 meters” away from the site where rockets have been launched. “The Israeli army has repeatedly accused the Palestinian militants of shooting from within densely populated civilian areas and that is precisely the type of setup we have here. Rockets set up right next to buildings with a lot of residents in them.” he added.
Earlier, an Indian television station showed footage that they shot out the window of their hotel of rockets being launched from a residential area shortly before a ceasefire took effect.
