Ferguson Police Name Officer in Michael Brown Killing, Ties to 'Strong Arm' Robbery

Almost a week after the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, MO, the city’s police chief Thomas Jackson named the officer involved.

Jackson said, “The officer that was involved in the shooting of Michael Brown was Darren Wilson. He’s been a police officer for six years, has had no disciplinary action taken against him. he was treated for injuries which occurred on Saturday.”
