Pinkerton Highlights Breitbart Story that Changed Michael Brown Narrative

Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s News HQ,” network contributor James Pinkerton pointed to a Breitbart News report on a uncovered video of a witness saying Michael Brown initially ran from the police car but then “doubled back” and was actually charging at the officers as they fired at him.

Pinkerton said, “In addition to that Breitbart News this morning has a video of two eyewitnesses of the shooting saying that Michael Brown charged the cops. This is not the narrative that media had been pushing all week about how this was an innocent young man, college student and so on. In fact, it’s a videotape that’s to be believed, and it’s hard to argue with the videotape, more like a thug, and it undercuts the entire Justice Department effort to portray the cops as the bad guys. Which I think we’re seeing the most anti-police Justice Department since Ramsey Clark back in the 1960s. And this hurts there case.”
