On the news on Thursday that a new CIA assessment adjusted the number of ISIS fighters to over 31,500, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said there many be more than 10,000 jihadist with European passports that would not alert authorities to give those potentially traveling to America extra scrutiny.
Pelosi said she is concerned because “ISIS is a mutating thing.”
She added, “The Europeans are very interested. We may have up to 100 foreign fighters from the U.S. that have gone there. The Europeans have thousands. More than 10,000 maybe that have passports from their countries, who are citizens from their counties, that have joined the fighting force.”
