Immediately upon hearing the news reported by House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), African-American congressional leaders expressed their shock of the news of Eric Holder’s resignation on Thursday at a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation panel on African-American voters and the midterm elections.
In addition to Pelosi, Reps. Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA) and Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) were included on the panel.
