Former CIA Chief Hayden on Breitbart Report: It's Dangerous for Obama to Only Read Intel Briefs

Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” Ret. U.S. Air Force Gen. Michael Hayden, the former director of the CIA and NSA, said it was dangerous for President Barack Obama to only read intelligence briefings instead of getting a briefing from an agent he can have a “human engage” with during a back-and-forth questioning session.

While responding to the Breitbart report, Hayden explained Obama preferred to read his intelligence briefings instead of engaging with officials and asking questions like former President George W. Bush did.

Hayden also explained that could lead to the policymaker only seeing what he would like it the world to be and he confirmed the practice is not simply a matter of style but dangerous when asked by Malzberg.
