CNN’s cameras captured a battle between ISIS and Syrian Kurds near the Syrian city of Kobani on Wednesday.
Correspondent Phil Black reported “there’s no doubt it [the Kurdish resistance and US airstrikes] has slowed that ISIS advance, but ISIS still has greater numbers. It still has the ability to be re-supplied, unlike the Kurdish fighters that are trying so hard to hold them off. The ISIS advance has been slowed but it certainly has not been stopped.”
CNN also aired video of ISIS militants “using a heavy machine gun of some kind against fleeing Kurdish fighters and using it with pretty devastating [impacts].”
He added that “the odds and the circumstances are very much against those few remaining Kurdish fighters, and that the Kurds were “outgunned.”
