Former Democratic Senator from Virginia, Jim Webb, would not say if Hillary Clinton was qualified to be president on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
When host Chuck Todd commented that Webb is seen as a potential candidate who would run on Clinton’s left, he responded “I believe in certain principals that I put out, and whether they are to the left or to the right doesn’t matter to me. I don’t change what I believe.”
He also said “I don’t think it’s for me to talk about Hillary Clinton. I enjoyed working with her when I was in the Senate. I don’t know what she’s going to do if she runs, what she would run on. I’m just very concerned about these issues for the country,” when asked whether he thought Clinton was qualified.
