Watch: Jimmy Kimmel Stumps Public on Definition of a GMO

On his Thursday broadcast, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel took to the streets of Los Angeles to gauge the public’s attitude toward GMOs, or genetically modified organisms, as ingredients in food.

GMOs have been a hot-button issue for some activists, some of whom insist food products that contain GMOs carry a special label to indicate as such. Others are against GMOs altogether.

However, as Kimmel finds, the public is a bit hazy on exactly what the definition of a GMO is.
