CDC Chief: Ebola Outbreak Would Be Over if We Had Acted Properly a Year Ago

Thursday at a congressional hearing on Ebola, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Tom Frieden said we could have stopped the outbreak if the Obama administration had reacted faster.

Frieden said, “If we had a the basic public health system in place in these three counties over a year ago to find it stop it and prevent it  it would be over already.”
