Chuck Todd Bemoans 'Minecraft' Midterms — Political Ads in Children's Games

Monday on MSNBC, host Chuck Todd hit incumbent Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan and her challenger Republican senatorial hopeful Thom Tillis for advertising in Minecraft, a computer game very popular with children in the 5-to-10-year-old range.

Todd said the “very active group, Charlotte mommies,” has seen Hagan and Tillis ads on Minecraft.

Todd said, “Any parents with kids at 7, 8, 9, 10 — Minecraft is very popular, but with kids. I know my kids love playing it. I’m just thinking ads are popping up on Minecraft, that tells you they have run out of so much real estate on TV. they are even looking to Minecraft ads. That one blew me away.”
