On “Fox News Sunday With Chris Wallace,” Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) said last week when the leadership from both parties had a meeting with President Barack Obama at the White House, the president refused to discuss common ground issues and instead insisted on giving a lecture about his plans for executive amnesty.
Barrasso said, “His [Obama] policies have been rejected by the voters, and not just because they’re unpopular, but because they don’t work. That’s why we went to the White House to say, Mr. President we want to work with you on issues of jobs, the economic, affordable centering, health care. I was astonished during that whole lunch, the president didn’t ask anything about that at all. He just was so focused on this executive amnesty issue, that he ignored the idea of having a dialogue on ways to change the direction of the country and move forward with regard to jobs and the economy.”
