Limbaugh: After Amnesty, Next Wave Will Be Unaccompanied Children's Parents

Earlier this week on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show, Limbaugh made the the case that President Barack Obama had a plan when he used his executive order to defer action on the dreamers in 2012 which caused the wave of unaccompanied minors flooding the U.S. Mexico border in the summer of 2014.

Limbaugh argued that plan will be fulfilled with the executive amnesty the president is threatening to do by the end of the year when he will defer action on the parents of those children which will cause potentially hundreds of thousands of their parents to cross the border next.

Partial transcript of follows (courtesy of “The Rush Limbaugh Show”):

LIMBAUGH: Here’s John in Philadelphia as we head back to the phones.  Thank you for calling.  Great to have you, sir.  Hello.

CALLER:  Hello, Rush.  It really is an honor to speak with you, and we really appreciate everything you do.

LIMBAUGH:  Well, thank you very much.

CALLER:  Look, what Obama’s trying to do with amnesty by granting legalization and amnesty to five million illegals, while it sounds terrible, I think it really is a great opportunity for this nation, especially conservatives.  What we can do is this.  As soon as he announces it, let’s say, “Go ahead and do it,” and we’ll make sure that all of these illegals know that in two years and two months, we will reverse this amnesty, and they will become illegals again.

LIMBAUGH:  No, that’s never gonna happen.

CALLER: We’ll have their name and address.

LIMBAUGH:  He can’t hear me ’cause of our phone system.  I’m not being rude, and I don’t want to be rude.  But there’s no reversing this.  This is not like a piece of legislation that you might think you could repeal or vote out or whatever.  You can’t reverse this.  We’ve never, ever reversed an amnesty.  And, by the way, we’ve never repealed an entitlement, either.  Well, that’s not entirely true.

This is a senior citizens Medicare one.  Dan “Rosty” Rostenkowski did that. But that happened within days, not years.  But there’s no upside to this.  A, it’s lawless. We don’t want to applaud lawlessness. There is no political advantage in letting Obama be lawless.  We already won an election.  We don’t need any more evidence to win an election.  “Yeah, let him do this, and it will guarantee us 2016!”

I respectfully have to shut down that kind of thinking.  This is ballgame here.  Obamacare and this are ballgame, in terms of the transformation of this country.  Now, you might think, “Well, Rush, but we’re gonna know who they are!” They’re gonna play games with this, by the way.  They’re not gonna say it’s amnesty.  They’re gonna say we’re just not gonna deport ’em.

“We’re just taking deportation of these 4.5 or 5 million off the table and therefore they can come out of the shadows, and therefore we will know who they are.” In two years, when we win it all, then we can round ’em up and send ’em back?  That’s not gonna happen.  There’s no way that is going to happen.  This thing has to be stopped, and there are ways.

Even after he does it, there are ways to stop it with defunding it. There are any number of ways. There are all kinds of mechanisms.  The question is whether or not the Republicans are going to have the gonads to do any of it. It seems it always comes down to that.  But this? We can’t just stand idly by and try to find some political opportunity while the president basically shreds the Constitution and flushes it down the toilet.

LIMBAUGH: Obama’s 10-part plan to grant amnesty, “comprehensive immigration reform” to whatever he says, 4.5 to 5 million people. This is crucial, and I know… Folks, I checked the e-mail during the break, and somebody said, “What do you mean, ‘The old rules don’t apply’?  What do you mean, ‘old rules’?”  Well, I didn’t have a whole lot of time, and in the closing segment of the previous hour…

I find that a lot of people are like our last caller. He said, “Hey, you know what we gotta do? Let him do this and put us in really good shape for 2016 because it will show the American people blah, blah, blah, blah, and bluh, bluh, bluh, bluh.”  These old rules don’t apply anymore.  The old, standard procedure under which everybody assumed Washington operates is all out the door.

I can give you the best example of it I’ve heard. It’s when Mitch McConnell said yesterday that this move of Obama’s has shown him that Obama is not going to move to the middle as fast as everybody thought.  Obama was never gonna move to the middle, whether he loses elections or wins them!  The old way in Washington would be if a party loses — and particularly in a landslide gets trounced — then it would at least go through the motions of making everybody think that it was changing.

It’s like after the 2002 midterms, it was discovered that “Values Voters” made the difference in that election, and it was a shocker.  Everybody was stunned because it wasn’t an issue on anybody’s mind.  But the exit polling data and further data with other surveys after the vote, it turned out that Values Voters showed up in droves.  The Democrat Party was running around saying, “Well, this means we’re gonna have to be aware of this.

“We’re gonna have to let those people know that we’re listening to them and that we hear them.”  So what they were doing was creating the impression that they were going to soften some of their policies and beliefs that had offended “Values Voters.”  Now, they were never going to actually do it, but they said they were.  The old rules of Washington are: You lose, you get trounced, and then you make it look like you’ve learned your lesson. You move in the direction of the voters.

I guess that’s the simplest way to sum up the old rules.  The parties would do whatever it took to convince voters who had rejected them that they cared and were going to change to get back in favor with the voters who had rejected them.  That’s what is out the window.  There is none of that is the Democrat Party side. They don’t care.  It’s like I said: The Democrat Party’s basically two different factions now.

For the Obama faction — the community organizers, these radical leftists — winning elections is not required for them to succeed.  Winning elections is cool, and it’s fun, and it’s a bonus. But they’re not gonna stop when they lose and they’re not gonna change.  Obama’s never gonna move to the middle.  But in Mitch McConnell’s world, that’s what used to happen.  The Republicans even are famous for this.

The Republicans are even worse. The Republicans one time won the Senate and felt so bad about it, they offered to share power with the Democrats in order to show the people that they could compromise and cross the aisle and work together.  It got ’em nothing.  Obama’s not gonna change his attitude on anything. Look what he’s doing! In the face of this landslide, he’s doubling down.  In the face of this landslide, here come three executive orders, Net neutrality, immigration (comprehensive amnesty), and whatever he’s gonna do on climate change.  This is called (raspberry) in your face.  This is called “(Raspberry) you!” to the voters, and to the Republicans.  “Screw you!”  There is no tacking to the center.  I couldn’t believe that.  I was speechless for almost two minutes when that was the reaction to Obama’s deal with the ChiComs.

“Well, I guess it means the president’s not going to be moving to the center nearly as quick as we expected.”  Really? Now, here we are at amnesty.  Does anybody remember the flood of young children that we started paying attention to back in March?  All of a sudden, out of nowhere, droves and droves of accompanied young children from El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua (not Mexico) started arriving in literal droves.

We found out, “You know what?  We have a little aspect of immigration law that nobody remembered, and that is we cannot send back minors who come from countries that are not Mexico.  We have to keep them.  We can’t send them back.”  I wonder who in the Regime found that one.  Now, I have never believed that that just happened.  I don’t believe that parents in Nicaragua and El Salvador and wherever the hell else, put their kids on trains for 45 days and a hell trip to get to the United States, unaccompanied.

I just don’t believe that happened. I don’t believe it sprung out of nowhere. I don’t believe that’s the normal thing parents would do.

I think the Regime is behind it.  We found a jobs posting on a government website dated in January in which the government was seeking transportation logistics companies for the purpose of relocating children arriving illegally at the Southern border.  They were looking for lawyers as well. When these unaccompanied children began arriving, they weren’t even given proper health checkups.

They were “processed” in a matter of hours, and then they were dispersed all over this country to places we were not told.  We still don’t know where the vast majority ended up.  Fast-forward to Obama’s plan, his 10-point plan to grant amnesty by eliminating any deportation.  Guess what we have found, ladies and gentlemen?  If the reports are true, and if Obama is going to give this amnesty, guess what?

One of the items in the 10-point plan… Stop what you’re doing and listen to me, here.  Look at me!  One of the items in the 10 point plan is to give amnesty to everyone with an illegal alien child.  That means all of these kids that just happened to show up from February through June? That means their parents get to come.  That means their parents get amnesty.

That would explain why their parents put them on the trains.  Their kids getting here successfully meant they were next.  This is not an accident.  This didn’t just happen.  These people in El Salvador and Guatemala didn’t just happen to learn this.  Somebody set this up, and somebody had to explain it to them. Somebody, some group. Somehow these parents were informed that their ticket to the United States and amnesty was their kids coming here first.

There’s no reason under the sun that this many parents were this irresponsible.  I don’t care what’s going on in their native countries.  Whatever’s going on there is nothing new anyway.  There’s no way this many parents would send their children on a train ride for 45 days through who knows what kind of hell on the way, unaccompanied, to get to the United States.  There is no way this is a coincidence.

“The plan calls for expanding deferred action for illegal immigrants who came to the US as children but also for the parents of US citizens and legal permanent residents.”  I want to take you back to what I said on this program on August 1st of this year.  I said, “It doesn’t matter that they’re children, because what the American people know is that the parents of these kids are next if something isn’t done here is.”

You and I knew. The people of Murrieta California, knew what was coming next. Everybody knew these kids’ parents were next, and that’s what I was pointing out back on August 1st. (The anniversary date of this program, by the way).  I said, “It doesn’t matter that they’re children because what the American people know is that the parents of these kids are next if something isn’t done to stop this.

“What the American people know is that if this is not dealt with, there’s no end to this, and there’s got to be an end to it.”  Anyway, we thought we were lied to about Obamacare, and we were. But Obamacare is nothing compared to how we have been lied to and manipulated on this amnesty, “comprehensive immigration reform,” whatever you want to call it. By both parties, by the way.

Now we know why we have had this flood of illegal alien children for the last year.  Every illegal alien in the US must have known this was coming, and they wanted to get their own anchor baby, even if they had to adopt one.  The administration did all they could to facilitate them.  So they put these kids in the families of illegal immigrants, which legalizes them — and then their parents down in Central America, El Salvador, Nicaragua, wherever?

All the while the Regime was pretending they were trying to stop the flood.  All the while the Regime was pretending to try to get a handle on this and stop this. All the while the Regime was pretending to try to stop this massive migration of illegal migrant minor children.  They didn’t stop it.  They’ve facilitated it. Now, if the reporting is correct… It’s a Fox News story.

If the reporting of this 10-point plan is true, we will know why.
