Deval Patrick: The Inevitability Narrative Around Hillary Is Off-Putting to Voters

Sunday on “Meet The Press,” Gov. Deval Patrick (D-MA) said the inevitability narrative surrounding the 2016 presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton is annoying to American voters.

Patrick said, “Well, I think first of all Hillary Clinton, Secretary Clinton, has been an extraordinary public servant and would be a terrific candidate for president. But I think that the narrative that it’s inevitable is off putting to regular voters. People read inevitability as entitlement.”
