Coulter: Garner Is What Media ‘Claimed Ferguson Was’

Columnist and author of “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican,” Ann Coulter argued that the Eric Garner case “what they [the media] claimed Ferguson was, but is not” on Thursday’s “CNN Tonight.”

Coulter argued that while she did not believe stopping Garner was motivated by race and unsure about whether there should have been an indictment, she “reacted the way I think everyone did ‘five guys for selling untaxed cigarettes?'”

She then wondered “why is it that the New York Times and MSNBC were not using this as the the case. This, the Eric gGrner case is what they claimed Ferguson was, but is not. Here it really is a gentle giant. Here it really is police aggression. And I submit to you it’s because these police were collecting taxes. You will never see fascism as a liberal trying to got your taxes.” And declared “what makes that video so shocking is, are you kidding me, this is to collect taxes to pay for your public sector union pensions?”

Coulter concluded “The way I feel about these cops is the same way I fell about airport security guards, it’s not their fault that they’re being forced to enforce stupid, stupid laws.”
