Mara Liasson: ‘World Hasn’t Cooperated’ With Obama’s Foreign Policy

NPR National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson said that “the world hasn’t cooperated” with President Obama’s foreign policy on Tuesday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel.

“Sounds like the US-backed government [in Yemen] is going to fall to these Shiite rebels. And I think it is a big story. I think on some foreign policy issues, the president very early in this term is going to get pushback from cCngress that’s successful. There are probably 60 votes for that Iranian bill in Congress that would put sanctions on Iran, tougher sanctions if the talks failed…Yemen is a problem, there are a lot of other places, don’t forget, this is the president who just one year ago in his State of the Union Address said we have to get off our ‘permanent war footing’ and the world hasn’t cooperated” she stated.
