Friday on MSNBC’s “NOW w/Alex Wagner,” Salon editor Joan Walsh said former Gov. Martin O’Malley (D-MD) is “feeling overlooked,” while wondering why there is no grassroots progressive ground swirl around his campaign like the “Ready for Elizabeth,” push to encourage Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to run against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, especially in light of the media obsession with the controversy surrounding Clinton’s emails.
Walsh described the “overlooked’ feeling saying when she asked O’Malley, are you mad there’s no ‘Ready for Martin?, “He handled it with grace and dignity. He’s feeling overlooked and the other thing is that, he’s sort of having a moment, but the only thing anybody wants to talk to him about is will he slam Hillary Clinton, like a test of manhood, which I think is offensive to everybody involved.”
