Dem Rep: Clear There Is ‘Hidden Racism Rampant’ in Congress

Friday, CNN played a clip of Rep. Corrine Brown (D-FL) entering the battle over Republicans delaying a vote on Loretta Lynch’s confirmation until the abortion language dispute on the sex trafficking bill can be resolved.

Brown chose to join her Senate colleague Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and interject race because Lynch is African-American by saying, “If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck, and it is clear to me that there is hidden racism rampant in the House and the Senate. Let’s call it what it is. I mean, I know it’s not comfortable to talk about it, but that’s what it is.”
