Dean: It’s Hillary’s ‘Prerogative’ Media Doesn’t Get to See All Emails

Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean argued that it is Hillary Clinton’s “prerogative” whether the media gets to see all of her emails on Wednesday’s “Morning Joe.”

Dean said, “It is true the media really wants to see everything, and they have this fundamental belief they should see everything, and I think Hillary’s decided they probably shouldn’t. And I think that’s her prerogative.”

New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters objected, “It’s her prerogative until she’s violated the law. … To the extent to which she and her people have gone to hide things in violation of State Department protocol and the law. And that is not her prerogative.” Dean responded, “she didn’t violate the law.”
