In a preview clip of a CBS “Face the Nation” interview with Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) set to air Sunday, Christie addressed former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton accusing Republicans of intentionally attempting to disenfranchise voters based on race, age and poverty level.
“She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. In New Jersey we have early voting available to people,” Christie said. “I don’t want to expand it and increase the opportunities for fraud. Maybe that’s what Mrs. Clinton wants to do. I don’t know. The fact is that folks in New Jersey have plenty of opportunity to vote. Maybe she should take some questions in some places and learn some things, then maybe she wouldn’t make such ridiculous statements.”
