Sunday at the Jerusalem Post Conference in New York, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew was loudly booed while giving a speech about the Obama administration’s attempt to get a deal on nuclear weapons with Iran.
Over the jeers of the crowd Lew said, “There is no doubt our sanctions worked to bring Iran to the table prepared to make serious concessions,” adding “some said Iran would cheat that our sanctions would fall apart and that this program would allow Iran to come closer to obtaining a nuclear weapon. But none of that happened.”
In the second video the editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post, Steve Linde admonished the crowd urging them to be respectful and listen to the Treasury secretary.
