Chuck Todd Likens GOP Candidates Reacting to Trump to a ‘Mud Fight with a Pig’

Wednesday on  MSNBC, NBC’s “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd likened Republican presidential candidate and billionaire business mogul Donald Trump to a pig in the mud when assessing the reaction of other GOP candidates to some of his controversial remarks.

Todd was asking former Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA) about how the other candidates should deal with Donald Trump at the first presidential primary debate when he said, “You have participated in debates. You probably had people that you were concerned could draw you into the mud fight. There is that metaphor that says  don’t get into a mud fight with a pig because only the pig will enjoy it. What is your advice to a Marco Rubio? I think Jeb Bush, by the way, is the only person that wants Trump on that stage because it will suck up all the oxygen. What is your advice to Scott Walker or Marco Rubio in dealing with the presence of Trump?”
