GOP Rep: Hillary Is ‘Absolutely Trying to Mislead the American People’

Thursday on NewsmaxTV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” a member of House Select Committee on Benghazi, Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS) said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was not being “truthful” during her interview with CNN this week.

“I think she was absolutely trying to mislead the American people. She gave an  answer that was not truthful. And that was not the only untruthful answer she gave in  the coarse of that interview about her document retention and email policy.”

He added, “She said she did everything that was required under the law. Look, you’re not allowed to keep federal records and not return them when you’re done with your job, and that’s what she did.”
