Jindal: Trump a ‘Narcissist,’ ‘Egomaniac,’ ‘Lacks Intellectual Curiosity’

Thursday at the National Press Club, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA), a candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, went after front-runner Donald Trump calling him a “narcissist” and “egomaniac,” and saying his campaign is a “carnival act.”

Jindal said, “Donald Trump is not a serious candidate. He’s a narcissist. He’s an egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself. The reality is I want to say what everybody is thinking about Donald Trump, but is afraid to say.”

He continued, “Here is the truth about Donald Trump. Donald Trump is shallow. He has no understanding of policy. He is full of bluster. He has no substance. He lacks the intellectual curiosity to even learn.”

Jindal explained Trump’s got no problem with big government and that he just thinks he should be running it.

Jindal said of Trump saying his favorite book is the Bible, but not being able to talk about a specific verse, “It’s clear Donald Trump has never read the Bible. The reason we know he has not read the Bible is that he’s not in the Bible.”
