Trump: Nobody Reads National Review

As a response to National Review editor and Fox News contributor Rich Lowry saying that GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina cut her rival Donald Trump’s “balls off with the precision of a surgeon,” Trump leveled attacks at Lowry, National Review and Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly on Thursday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC.

Trump said he likes to respond on social media.

“When a dope like a Rich Lowry goes off or people like Megyn Kelly says things that are wrong, I’m able to tweet,” he said. “Now if other people had that, instead of having 15 followers, they would probably use it. I’m not sure. But I’m able to use it, and I use it well. You’re able to fight back. In the old case you didn’t have that? What would you do, call a press conference to announce that somebody lost control of his mind on television last night and made a total fool of himself? You couldn’t do that. With twitter with one tweet , 140 characters, you can knock somebody out. It’s pretty cool.”

On the topic of National Review he added, “I don’t think anybody reads it. I think it has no power whatsoever, I’ll be honest, I think it has no power whatsoever,  and he’s not a respected  guy.”

Joe Scarborough said, “Well, I read it.”

Trump quipped, “You’re the only one.”
