A male Huntington Beach, CA high school student has been arrested after allegedly beating up a visually impaired student in an incident that was captured on video by a witness, according to police.

As the visually impaired student walked past the other student, an argument came about, which resulted in the first student being hit several times by the other one, according to investigators. Another student saw the fight going on and “intervened to prevent the suspect from further assaulting the victim,” the statement said.

The video shows the third student jumping in and striking one of the boys before asking him: “You’re trying to jump a f—— blind kid, bro?”

The bully in the incident was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and released to his parents, while the intervening student is not expected to be arrested.
